"Places Been" is a travel tracker app that allows you to conveniently search and mark those places, as easy as placing pins on your travel map. Visited places are beautifully displayed with their corresponding country flag on a map.
The app automatically generates a list of all visited countries and states/provinces/regions based on the cities you tagged. It also helps you to keep track of your personal Bucket List - all places that you are still planning to visit and your fav places in the world.
As a bonus you can create your personal Flag Map based on the countries that you visited - similar to a scratchmap!

I downloaded the app, and added my visited cities. The presentation is good. So I decided to support the app a bit by paying their pro package.

Developer website not responding, so can’t report problem. Synchronization not working - app can’t connect to server. Looks like this is a dead app.

It only has airports, cities in the US etc…you cannot pick countries. Completely useless app!

I paid for the full app and paid for the unesco sites . After tagging 900 cities and towns it was all erased.Why?1. If you use the app on two devices and back it up to your Google account it will not sync. Put another way.. your ipad will have one back up and iPhone another.2. Poor service. Trite responses.3. Dead facebook page After getting wrong info from the “support” i lost all the data. 3 years of work.My lesson1.trust branded companies not apps that are just side gigs or a firm that wont be around in a year.2. If the service is poor thats a sign to delete the appThe only benefit? Got a refund from Apple.For a app based in Switzerland i expected more.Have i visited there? I dont know as my dat is all gone…———-Previous review…Generally a very good app. I cant find one better or more straightforward. Other apps are cluttered and full of ads and silly travel tips. A few issues..1. Support is not great. 2. No updates on app3. Countries not all in alphabetical order. ( china first? Then near the end is Canada?)4. When adding a new place the pop up box is very tiny5.paying for pro still requires you to pay more for unesco sites. Boo.6. Not all social media links on app have activity or updates 7. Using the app on two devices is buggy. I am trying to use my main google email to sync on my phone , but it keeps going back to another account. Deleted and reinstalled but no luck. Wish the app owner took a bit more time to update bugs. It would really be excellent!I just hope the app doesnt blow up and all the data is lost
