WEATHER OUTLOOKS
A free early preview combines recent and forecast weather with research into fungal records to show when conditions may be more or less favourable than usual for a species in a supported area.
These outlooks need an internet connection. Coverage depends on the available evidence and current data, so not every area or mushroom has an outlook. Comparisons are with that area's usual conditions for the time of year, not a promise of how many mushrooms you will find or a ranking of one area's habitat against another. Share feedback from within the feature to help improve it.
INDEPENDENT AND PRIVATE
No adverts or cross-app tracking. Premium features are included on iOS, with no separate in-app purchase or subscription required in this release. Photos stay on your device unless you choose to contribute one. Photo contributions and forecast feedback are optional.
Shroomify is a guide, not a guarantee. Always confirm a mushroom's identity and never eat a wild mushroom unless you are completely certain of what it is.

Wonderful app. It is my main go to besides google. Maybe next update you can add a new species submission tool for adding to your database. I am in Eastern Canada so a specific database for the Atlantic Provinces would be another great update.

I’m from Canada - we have diverse climates from east to west and north to south but the Canadian filter on this app doesn’t have the option to select regions of my country. I’m from Ontario which has a very different climate than British Columbia which is very different from The Northwest Territories. Seems like an easy fix. They divided The States up.ALSOI payed the premium to gain access to more photos of each mushroom (without paying there is only one photo of each mushroom to view) thinking it was going to give me tons of excellent photos of each mushroom but instead it only gave me two or three more photos and some remained as only one photo and many of them aren’t necessarily great photos… Come on guys… not a big fix either… just add more/better photos to help with IDs.Fix these issues and it’s a 5 star review from me.
