Excellent App!!
Babba O'Riley
I've been using this since the Pandemic started because I could only access my work emails from my work iPhone. I found several paid apps that allows you to use the macOS keyboard as a bluetooth keyboard, but many of the reviews weren't great, and the apps were old without any recent software updates. I found this one for free and decided to give it a try. It does everything as advertised, and has been regularly updated with costant improvements and functionalities incorporated. There's an in-app purchase for this app now (there wasn't when I first downloaded it) and I've paid for the in-app purchase just becasue I think the developer deserves it for being so proactive in the way they've kept pushing new capabilities into this app. Super easy to use, does what's promised, and it has become invaluable to me while my corporate IT Dept figures out how to transition to a post-pandemic work environment. Release of this app was very well-timed. I hope this review helps others choose this app. And I'd like to thank the developer for it.

Seamlessly Use MacBook Keyboard and Mouse with Meta Quest / Oculus
Nathan Sudds
I’ve been using the KeyPad app to effortlessly connect my MacBook keyboard and mouse via bluetooth to my Meta Quest / Oculus headset, and it has completely streamlined my VR experience. Unlike other options, Keypad eliminates the need for a Bluetooth keyboard, saving me both time and money by using my existing MacBook peripherals. With programmable shortcut keys (and mouse buttons to trigger them too) switching between my Macbook and virtual environments is so easy. This seamless integration boosts productivity and simplifies multitasking between real and virtual worlds. I use this setup for hours a day now. Customer support has been outstanding from day one, making my upgrade decision easy. I now use Keypad daily—it’s an essential tool that saves money, space and enhances my VR setup. Highly recommend!
Crashes when connecting

Crashes when connecting. What else is there to say?
Developer Response
Update: I just released 1.99.12 which fixes the crash I found. Let me know if this solves your issue and you are able to use KeyPad---Hmm…I think I have figured out the crash you had, but I don't see any crash reports for the last week so I am not sure. if you have enabled sharing crash reports with Apple I should get the crash report and will be able to take a look.Email comms is much faster than messaging with the review system. tools@toolbunch.com. Does this happen if you click on "Connect device over Bluetooth..." and then click the Select button, without selecting any bluetooth device? If this is the issue you faced, I will have a fix out pretty soon, but this is a corner case. If you connect to the device you want to control from inside the selection dialog, and then press the select button it should work.Do try it again, the app does work.
