“Kid TikTok”, Not Educational, Not Safe, and NFTs?

I downloaded this as it said in the ad and App Store description that ages 2+ could access educational videos, games, and materials. The only feature on this app is TikTok-type video content with themes or challenges. They do have partnerships with some museums and popular kids shows. YouTube Kids or direct apps for these resources is a better option.Everything is rewarded a coin — and you can buy coins too. With coins you can buy profile items and NFTs… seriously?A BIG RED FLAGAs an adult, I was able to create an account and immediately view other children's profiles and videos as well as interacting with them. HUGE safety concern. I went to verify the profile which is done by either uploading a video of the user (child) and a parent… OR BY BUYING A COIN PACKAGE AND BYPASSING PHOTO OR VIDEO VERIFICATION. So, a couple of dollars is worth risking the safety of kids using this app. A predator could easily use this app to contact children.

Why in the world would you make an app that is TikTok for kids

The whole reason of TikTok having an age limit is that way there aren’t young kids for preadators to spy on. So who’s idea was it to make an app that has kids who are not even old enough to know what a predator is available online for anyone to see not to mention the FIRST video I saw was a LITERAL CHILD who looked SIX doing the TYLA DANCE (a dance that involves very kid in friendly moves.) Where’s your common sense developers.
