Some animations are apparently deliberately slowed down so you can speed them back up with an upgrade later on. (Looking at you, Chest Hunt…)That’s outright *insane* disrespect for players’ time, even for an idle game. I cannot recommend this game to anyone in good faith based on this alone… …But it apparently got worse. Later on, a certain daily quest, once you finally unlock those, forces you to watch ads to complete it which makes the problem even worse. Good thing you can reroll it! By watching an ad, of course.You need to watch an ad for each individual instance; want to double your idle bonuses, get the silver random boxes and turn in your daily “gift?” Gotta watch 3 ads in a row. That saver you bought in the ascension tree? We can show you right where it is for the low, low price of one more ad.If you can look beyond that… Expect a few weeks of grinding before you see any tangible or otherwise meaningful progress. It’s an idle game, you get exactly what you expect.The game has a very predatory philosophy on its use of ads. Many of its potential quality of life features and small boosts require an ad. The longer you play, the more you will see it, and the more new and exciting ways the dev has thrown opportunities for ads your way.The one and only way to remove the ads and still get the benefits is fork over the cash. There *is* an option in the shop for temporary ad removal, but it’s greyed out. I expect it to either not be available in my country, I can unlock that small “courtesy” from the dev in the endgame, or it’s a removed feature. It could be any one, for all I know.Suggestions for the dev; - Speed animations up from the start. Don’t waste peoples’ time like that when you could have had it like like that from the beginning.- Don’t have daily quests that REQUIRE watching ads to complete them. - Don’t bake upgrades for AD-LOCKED CONTENT into the ascension tree.- And don’t make luck so important for anything more than chip levels of progression; add some ways (or even just *one* way, for that matter) to make some decent progress with the assumption that luck is at its worst.I’ve felt the need to revise and lower my review thrice. I hope that explains enough.
