Dawn Chorus is a Citizen Science And Art Project with an app via which people from all over the world can submit Dawn Chorus recordings. The new version of Dawn Chorus has automatic bird voice recognition via BirdNET. The results can be added to the record as well as your own choices. There is an improved account management that personalizes your default settings. For advanced users that use external audio equipment this information can be saved into the account now. Included in the app is fresh educational material on the science behind Dawn Chorus and on the new AI features. In the global soundmap users can listen to all sound recordings from all over the world. There are new filter options included: you can now search exclusively for Dawn Chorus recordings or high quality recordings taken with external audio equipment. The countdown timer is now 10 seconds instead of 5 in order to give more time to move away from the telephone after laying it on a safe place to record. The user is now enabled to delete recordings before and after submitting them. In general the user experience has been enhanced by minimizing the necessary confirmations and improved design.
