CozyBlanket includes in-app purchases to fully unlock its import/export options and advanced features.
For the best experience, Apple Pencil is recommended, but not required.
## A complete suite for model preparation and optimization
CozyBlanket can perform manual retopology, seam-based UV unwrapping, manual packing, normal maps and vertex colors baking. With CozyBlanket you can take your high poly models and manually prepare them for animation, video games, real-time rendering and surfacing. All with a single app.
With CozyBlanket you can move the technical, manual work of creating 3D assets from your desktop to your iPad. By using a minimal UI and its innovative UX you can perform retopology, uv and baking as an enjoyable, game-like process similar to solving a puzzle, from the comfort of your sofa, on the train or while enjoying a hot chocolate at your favorite cafe.
CozyBlanket was designed to be able to handle high resolution meshes coming from scans and desktop DCCs in mobile devices. Its performance is mostly limited by the iPad available memory.
CozyBlanket allows you to import a high-poly sculpt and export a game-ready asset that looks the same, all without common pipeline issues such as scale mismatches, tangent space errors and snapping artifacts.
## A different approach to retopology, UV and baking
CozyBlanket was designed to be beginner friendly and approachable, but very powerful. You can learn CozyBlanket's fundamentals and start working with it just by seeing it in action. From there, you can start digging into the included instructive tutorial slides and Action Gallery to discover its advanced features.
All tooling was designed to take the most advantage of Apple Pencil and multitouch screens. When doing retopology, you create new quads, patches and grids by directly drawing on the high poly mesh. You can also transform the UV coordinates and texture position by using multitouch over the 3D mesh.
CozyBlanket actions are also coherent between different tasks. Fox example, its Relax action behaves identically when using it for smoothing topology positions, UV coordinates or the baking cage's shape.
## Integrates with desktop software and pipelines
CozyBlanket Standard version supports network functionality, This way it can be integrated with desktop software and pipelines by streaming geometry over the local network. No exporting and transferring files between devices is needed.
CozyBlanket provides a network protocol that can be fully scripted to fit the requirements of your studio pipelines and custom tooling.
I was test running this app for retopo, and this apps great with the gestures and allBut this app gets limiting if you can’t change the sculpted model without redoing the retopo work all over againAnother thing, what if we wanted to continue work in CozyBlanket but retopo was already started in Maya or Blender?I’m willing to pay for the standard version if it unlocks this feature, but it doesn’t seem like CozyBlanket even has this
Good, needs some work
Not a nicknamed
I would give it 5 stars if it would allow to import Lo poly to rework
Almost really good but not there yet

Bought the full version and I regret it. Like i said, its almost there, but there’s too many small issues. I’m writing this because if they improve it it’ll be a great app and i hope my feedback will be useful. It’s having a hard time to be precise with the pen, it doesn’t always click where i intend to. The tools are incomplete, id like to be able to scale my area when i drag for example. I’d like to be able to work with the faces and edges not only the vertices and not an entire loop. It’s sold as an app dedicated to IPad, but they dont fully utilize the apple pen capabilities, pen pressure, tilt and double tap are no where to be seen or used. Another life quality improvement would be like in nomad, a palm detection and ignore it when i rest my hand on the screen would be great. Truly hope they keep improving it, it could make it actually pretty zen and enjoyable, but not yet.
Deleted my project without warning?

I swear I purchased this program, and after placing over 1000 quads. I went to sleep expecting to keep working on my project it deleted it without warning or anything. There is no way to save or export. Like I said I thought I purchased the lite version of this it’s only 20 bucks, either way it locks out a lot of basic functionality that free programs on windows have. I would just use blender and if you’re going to spend 80 I would just buy retopoflow. It is much quicker to generate quads with finely tuned settings and controls. Dont waste your time on what ever the free mode is just make sure you buy the base lite and make sure it’s applied. I have no idea where in app purchases go, I’m assuming it’s applied automatically and something went wrong on my end. Either way there’s no real warning to save before when you hop over to YouTube. And lose your progress lol.
- Fix packing with meshes with more than 60k vertices.
- Fix multiple UI binding bugs.
