• New All Catalog, with more filters • New Guides: getting started, Pro Designs, flower breeding, villager moves and every seasonal event • New Island Planner: plan your island layout on iPhone and iPad — terrain, paths, buildings, trees and flowers — and export an image • A short tour of the main features for new users • Bug fixes

Handbook Scan just got better: • New: scan a video you film with your phone • Names and variants are matched even when a character or two is misread • Scrolling fast through DIY Recipes no longer adds recipes that aren't there • More accurate music and reaction scanning, even in a dark room • Sorting by name now matches the in-game order • Bug fixes

Introducing Handbook Scan! No more tapping items one by one. Just let the app read your game screen: • Three ways to scan: Switch screenshots or videos (most accurate), a video you film with your phone, or point your phone at the screen and scroll • Works with the Catalog, DIY Recipes, Critterpedia (fish, bugs and sea creatures), music and reactions • Pause on a variant in the Catalog and even the exact color or pattern is recognized • Every item found pops out of the screen and flies into your tray • Results are listed in game order: check them, then mark them all with one tap • Bug fixes

• More accurate Turnip Price Prediction: the chance of each pattern is now recalculated from every price you enter • The chart's average line is now the median, and selecting a time slot shows how likely each price range is

• Island Diary: new "Vacation Home" event. Note which villager moved into the vacation home you designed in Happy Home Paradise, with their request shown for reference • Custom events can now be linked to villagers and items, and also appear under My Diary in the Catalog • Island Time can now be set right from Turnip Price Prediction. If you change your Switch clock, set it there and your prices will follow the island's week

• Weather forecast: on meteor shower nights, switch the details to "Seconds" to see exactly which second each star falls • Visitor Records: visitors who changed their name now also show their previous name and island • Bug fixes

• Daily Checklist: the villager check-in panel now has its own switch, so you can hide it when you don't need it • Panels no longer affect each other, and your choice is remembered • Bug fixes

• Event reminders on the day an in-game event starts • My Diary: log events from villager pages; see related entries on item pages • Daily Checklist: Nook Stop check-in and villager check-offs • Log Kapp'n boat tours • New Sort button in the Handbook, ascending or descending • Better notifications and rooms, plus bug fixes

• New app icon, Dark Mode, Optimized for iPhone Duo • New "Group stretching" event, and more NPCs in Visitors • Improvements to the Handbook, Daily Checklist and villager pages • Bug fixes
