SparkReceipt is a receipt scanner and expense tracker for self-employed Canadians, sole proprietors, and small business owners. Snap a receipt, forward an eReceipt, or upload a PDF and the AI extracts the merchant, amount, GST/HST, date, category, and line items in seconds.
AI RECEIPT SCANNER WITH OCR
The receipt scanner reads paper receipts, PDF invoices, and forwarded email receipts in any language and currency. Smart categorization looks at the products on the receipt, not just the merchant name, so business expenses land in the right account for CRA reporting from day one.
EMAIL INBOX AUTO-SCANNING
Connect Gmail or Outlook and SparkReceipt finds and imports email receipts as they arrive. No more digging through your inbox at month end or before tax season. You stay in control: review, approve, and exclude senders any time.
FORWARD EMAIL RECEIPTS
Prefer to file receipts manually? Forward eReceipts to your personal SparkReceipt address and the AI handles the rest. Useful for shared inboxes or accounts you don't want to connect directly.
GST/HST AND MULTI-CURRENCY
Track income alongside expenses for real-time profit and loss across your business. Tag expenses by client, project, or trip. Convert any currency at accurate historical daily rates, useful when clients pay in USD but the CRA wants the numbers in CAD.
