I was nervous to update given the awful updates of so many other news apps. But this one got it right. The new form factor is even better than the original which was good itself. Two areas for improvement: The font is a bit too small to read comfortably in the list view of article headlines. There are big blank gaps in the text of the articles, though I'm sure these are placeholders for ads.

I’ve had an unlimited subscription for several years and all of a sudden I start getting pop-ups saying that my monthly limit is up. Very annoying when trying to read. I’ve tried deleting the app and re-installing and still same issue. Maybe I should try another paper?

If ONE (1) article per month is my free limit, then there is no reason to keep this app. Too bad: NY Daily News is a great paper!

I did like the old format better. Where did the horoscopes go, I like to read it, even though it was not based on fact. Cheers
