Very good mapping app

I am retired military, and maps were my life while in uniform. I got this app because I love the quality and detail of the map sets provided with it. They offer more information than many of the other map tools I have (I probably have more than I need). This app will be a world beater when it includes a snap to trail route creation tool, and the ability to import GPX routes in the mobile version. I am really looking forward to those features, but in the meantime I heartily endorse Mapy as a detailed and visually compelling map guide. PK
Developer Response
Thank you so much for your kind words and thoughtful feedback, PK! We're truly honored by your endorsement, especially coming from someone with your background. The good news is that we're already working on improving GPX route handling on mobile. In the meantime, it's possible to import GPX files—here's a quick guide:👉 https://help.mapy.com/my-mapy/features/#importThanks again for supporting Mapy and sharing your insights!
Good maps

Pretty good either way the maps. Lacks the business and commercial info that google has. In Canada, when searching for restaurants you don’t generally see opening hours, or info on the type of food, almost no reviews. It is difficult to switch from the American services that have those features. Also, traffic information is not available and that is key for driving use.
Developer Response
Hi, thanks for your review! We understand that richer business details and traffic information are important. We’ll pass your feedback to our product team as we continue improving Mapy.com. Safe travels! 🗺️
not optimal

kept changing the itinerary during the hike, made us walk extra kilometers and options varied whenit came to which phone we used mapy on.
Developer Response
Hello, thanks for your review and sorry for the trouble. If this still happens, please contact us via https://mapy.com/?feedback=menu with the route example, both phones and app versions, and we’ll gladly look into it.
Your downloaded offline maps will now update automatically, without you having to do a thing. Enjoy worry-free trip planning!
