I'm a Pro user on their top tier plan. I don't overuse Merlin.ai. And it's still slow. In fact, I barely use my paid account as Grok (until recently but that's related to the new expert mode) and Perplexity are so much faster when used directly. Or Cursor for coding. These AI piggyback services, especially Merlin, are very bad value if you value your time. It's impossible to get into a flow with such laggy responses.

Subscribed for one year. The monthly subscription is acceptable, but the ai model itself is not that good. It keeps hanging and the results are not that good compared to the original platforms
