Complete overhaul of Offline maps. Instead of downloading individual maps for each town, there is now one map, that covers all of Victoria. It includes hillshading, and contour lines (which can be turned off in Settings). Changed the Offline map engine to Maplibre GL. Converted all offline datasources to vector sources, dramatically increasing speed and reducing size. Added all map data layers from online mode, to offline mode, including large layers previously to large to include offline. Added Settings for Offline mode.

Added a new layer, split over two layers, called Watercoarses. It's split between 'east' and 'central & west'. It can be combined with the newly added Layer Filtering feature, to find only watercoarses not on the banned list. Improved all offline maps. Increased resolution, added topographical lines, and added hill shading. Note that you will need to delete and re-download your offline maps, to get the new versions. Optimised offline map download speeds using a sliding window algorithm, gained a 18-25% improvement in download speeds. Several minor cosmetic bug fixes.

Introduced Layer Filtering, which allows you to filter each map data layer by specific criteria. For example, you can use Layer Filtering on the "Mines & Shafts" layer, to only show you Mines or Shafts that have produced more than 100,000 grams. Or to show you only mines with a gold grade higher than 10 grams / tonne. This is all possible using Layer Filtering, and it can be accessed in "My Settings" (the gear icon in the top left). Fixed a bug that was preventing the name of "Fault Lines" and "Auriferous Quartz Veins" from displaying correctly in their popup box.

Fixed a MAJOR bug with the alignment of Offline maps - the bug was introduced in yesterday's update.

Retired Google Maps, in favour of Mapbox, due to Mapbox's ability to use your devices GPU to render very large data layers incredibly quickly. Addded a "My Settings" feature, where you can customise various options. Added a live gold price feed, which displays the current spot gold price in AUD per gram, and updates every 60 seconds. This can be turned off in "My Settings", if preferred. Fixed several minor bugs.

Improved the accessibility and functionality of the Mapbox layers. Made all the feature icons and lines larger, so they are easier to tap on. Improved the layout of the Mapbox popups that appear when tapping on a feature. Increased the size of the zoom controls. Added a 'Map Tilt' icon for Mapbox, which is located above the zoom controls, that allows for tilting the map to 60 degrees. Added a new data layer called 'Non-exclusive Crown Licences'.

Added several new data layers, including "Public Crown Land", "Mining Features on Crown Land", and "LIDAR Features on Crown Land". Also added two new Mapbox base maps. Please note that the above new data layers are only available when using the Mapbox base maps, due to their very large size.

Fixed a bug that occurred when using the "Search" box to search for coordinates in the format "latitude, longitude" which would cause the Google Maps API to return the location of a near by "Place", instead of the location of the coordinates searched for.

Added a new map layer called "Drill Core Images". This layer links to the The Geological Survey of Victoria’s (GSV) Drill Core Library, and provides direct access to all publicly available online drill core images, all in an easy to use Geo-referenced interface.

Fixed a bug effecting the display of Offline maps for older iOS devices.

This version brings several bug fixes, several GUI performance improvements, and memory optimisation. The Mines & Shafts layer now uses super clustering of markers, to make navigate these markers much easier. It also now links directly to VicMines, and downloads mine reports on the fly, getting you the most up to date information.

Version 2.02 brings several bug fixes, several performance improvements, and offline mapping capability.
