Home screen widgets, and a fix for Pro. • New widgets. Put Deal Dish on your Home or Lock Screen: this week's deals at your store, what you've saved, and what's left on your shopping list. Press and hold your Home Screen, tap +, and search for Deal Dish. • Pro is selectable again. Some people tapped to see Pro and nothing opened, and after that no Pro button worked until the app was restarted. Fixed. • Invite a friend, save more recipes. Friends who join add to how many recipes you can save each week. • Recipes you can't eat stay hidden. Fewer pop-ups, and saved trips that group by store properly. • We ask about ratings differently. Deal Dish no longer interrupts you with a rating pop-up. After something good happens — a shop finished, a badge earned — the banner at the top of Home asks one plain question with two buttons. If you tap "Not really," we stop asking. For good. • Saved trips group by store correctly. When you logged a shop, items you bought at your own store were sometimes filed under another store, and switching between two branches of the same chain split one trip in two. Trips now group the same way your list does, so the totals line up. • Your list has more room. The Pro suggestion moved out of the bar pinned to the bottom of your list, so your running total gets the space instead. • Setup finishes cleanly. The last setup question no longer lets you slip past it half-answered. The button tells you how many of the three are done, and turns into "Create My Free Account" once you're finished. • Store list updates. Clearer price comparing, a simpler setup, and a fix for Pro search. • Product pages, rebuilt. Every grocery item now opens into one clear page: the price at each store running it this week, cheapest at the top, your own store marked, plus size, unit price and product details on their own tab instead of one long scroll. • Recipe pricing is easier to read. The compare card on a recipe was tightened up so the store, the price and what you save line up at a glance, with the flyer that set the price still named underneath. • Pro search fixed. Some members with a paid plan were told they had run out of searches. The app now confirms your plan before it stops a search, and if you do hit a free-plan limit it takes you straight to the plan details instead of through an extra pop-up. • Setup is faster and easier to read. The last question in setup now uses a simple slider for how many people you cook for, and asks what kind of recipes you want in plain words — few steps, some steps, or many steps — instead of asking how good a cook you are. • Postal code entry fixed. Entering your postal code when finding nearby stores is more reliable, so your store list is right the first time. • Password reset fixed. Better price comparison, and a water tracker that resets properly. • See every store's price on a recipe. The pricing section was rebuilt. You now see what the recipe costs at each store you shop at, ranked cheapest first, so picking the best one takes a second instead of a guess. • Clearer savings math. The regular price, what you save, and what you actually pay are laid out plainly, and the flyer that set the price is named. If the numbers don't line up, we say so instead of showing a savings figure we can't stand behind. • Store logos on recipe cards. Each recipe card now shows the logo of the store it's priced at, so you can tell at a glance where a meal comes from without opening it. • Compare prices on any product. Open any grocery item and see what it costs at every store running it this week, with the cheapest one at the top and your own store marked. • Water intake resets each day. Your water count was carrying over and adding up across the week. It now starts fresh every morning and rolls over on its own at midnight. • Subscription prompts fixed. Quicker to start, and a recipe feed you can trust. • Setup is much shorter. Signing up is now seven steps instead of ten. How many people you cook for, how much you cook, and what you spend each week are one screen of quick taps, and each choice tells you what it changes. • Pick your favourite foods any time. That step left setup and now lives in Profile → Settings → Favorite Foods, so you can change it whenever you like. • Recipes match your store. A recipe now appears under a store only when there is real evidence that store carries it. Fewer recipes in some weeks, but the price, the savings and the shopping list are honest. • The feed stops reshuffling. Recipe rows used to rearrange while prices were still loading. Rows now settle once, so what you tapped is still where you left it. • No more store-brand mix-ups. Store brands belong to one grocery chain, so a No Name item can never sit on a Sobeys shelf. Matches like that are now filtered out instead of sending you looking for something that isn't there. • Product photos load again. When a store rotates its image files the old links break. Deal Dish now finds the working photo instead of showing a blank card. • Recipe pages load properly. Opening a recipe now shows a clean loading layout instead of an empty screen. • Share to Instagram and Facebook Stories. Sharing now builds a proper story image and opens it straight in the app, instead of asking you to paste text yourself. • Clearer Pro screens. This update makes cross-store price comparison work on far more items, and fixes the nearby store results behind recipe pricing. • Compare prices on far more items. When you opened a product from search or browsing, Deal Dish often couldn't match it to other stores. It can now, so the price comparison shows up where it used to come back empty. • Fewer missed matches at your own chain. If a store lists the same item under a different pack or code, we now find it instead of reporting the store as not carrying it. • Straight answers. When we can't identify an item at another store, we say exactly that — we never imply the store doesn't sell it. • Change your store location in Settings. Profile → Settings → Your Store now lets you switch to a different branch of your store without digging for it. • More accurate nearby stores. Real Canadian Superstore locations now line up with our store list, so recipe prices come from a store that's genuinely close to you, with the distance shown. • Sizes you can read. Package sizes now display properly — "4 L" instead of "4l", "2 x 500 mL" instead of "2x500ml" — on product cards, recipe ingredients and product pages. • Share Deal Dish.
