Don’t worry, iglu’s semantic search engine gets the general idea of what you’re looking for and shows you the most relevant entries. WRITE SHORTCUT A new entry is always one tap away with iglu’s shortcut. Use it from the Action button, Lock Screen (as a control and as a widget), and Control Center. Say goodbye to friction! ACTIVITY WIDGET Keep track of your writing activity with the activity widget. It shows how much you’ve written in the past few weeks using a beautiful ‘heat map’ design, right on your Home Screen. FACE ID Lock iglu with Face ID to make sure no one snoops around your personal space. JOURNALING REMINDERS Get reminded to take a few seconds to journal every now and then. You can get reminders randomly throughout the day or choose specific times you prefer. PRIVACY Your journal is stored on your device. Entries and photos can sync with your private iCloud storage; videos remain on your device. Limitations! When the developer described short entry, they weren’t joking. I tried to copy and paste my entry from another journal app that I am testing and the allowable words in an entry is discourage. I couldn’t even copy 1/20th of my original entry in another journal app. There is only room to write 3-4 sentences. That’s a big design flaw there. Most people, I believe, would want to be expressive in a privacy centred app. You simply can’t put word limitations that don’t even allow a paragraph. I don’t see this as a journal app. It’s more like a Twitter for your own review later. Not impressed.

I’m sorry about that.Like you said, the app is supposed to be more like a private Twitter account, just for yourself. And indeed it’s not a journaling app in the traditional sense, it’s specifically designed for people who want to do micro-journaling.I appreciate the honest feedback!
