This update is about the app doing what it told you it did. • Delete All Data now clears your receipt photographs. Images stored outside the main database were being left behind while deletion reported success. They are removed now. • Honest wording on deletion: the app clears its own data, and anything already uploaded stays in your YNAB account. The old text promised more than the app can reach. • Honest sign-out: if the app cannot confirm your YNAB credential was removed, it says so and refuses to use it, instead of reporting a success it did not earn. • Nothing lingers between sessions. A reply from YNAB that arrives after you sign out can no longer refill accounts and categories behind your new session. • Bank-matched receipts stay in sync. A receipt your bank matches keeps the bank's date and keeps syncing, instead of quietly dropping out. • Editing the same receipt in two places now tells you about the conflict, rather than letting one change overwrite the other. • Accessibility: bigger hit targets on Change Account and Save Locally, Reduce Motion respected in more places, and VoiceOver now speaks the uncategorized state on a line item. • Smaller fixes: a $0.00 line item is refused with the reason shown, quantity steps to the next whole unit, a blank merchant names the field instead of showing a storage error, and the sync sheet shows account names rather than raw identifiers. • New app icon. When that happens, the app now tells you and offers to sign back in, instead of showing a connected account while uploads and syncs quietly fail. • A clear way back: after a session ends, your receipts, budgets, and account names stay viewable offline, and signing back in restores everything, including the account picker. • Ready for iOS 27: receipt line items are now stored in a future-proof format with stable ordering. Scanning and editing receipts now happen in one streamlined screen. • Save, then upload: after saving a scan, the upload button appears right in the same screen. No more hunting for the receipt afterwards. • Always know where a receipt stands: every receipt now shows its YNAB status (uploaded, matched to your bank, not found, or on this device only), with the target account always visible. • Smarter sync: syncing brings back the current payee name, account, and category from YNAB. If a transaction was deleted in YNAB, the app now tells you and offers Check YNAB Again instead of guessing. • More reliable uploads: one tap creates exactly one transaction, with protection against duplicates even if the connection drops mid-upload. • Accessibility improvements throughout, including better support for the largest text sizes. You're now in full control of your data. This update adds in-app data deletion, available under Settings > YNAB Account > Data: • Delete All Data: erases everything stored on your device and returns the app to a fresh-install state. • Disconnect & Delete Synced Data: signs out and removes receipts already saved to YNAB from your device, while keeping your local drafts. Find your receipts without sharing them. v1.1.0 adds private receipt links: a short code in each YNAB transaction memo that lets you jump back to the receipt image stored privately on your device. Copy the code from any YNAB transaction, paste it in the Receipts tab, and the matching receipt opens. Already have receipts synced under earlier versions? Settings → Add Link Codes to Existing Receipts will add codes to those too, in the background. No uploads. No third-party services. No tracking. Your receipt images never leave your iPhone.

Adaptive Scanning for Long Receipts Grocery runs, warehouse store trips, anything with a lot of items. The app now detects tall receipts and splits the image into overlapping sections before scanning each one. Previously, long receipts could lose up to half their line items. This recovers them. Short receipts are completely unaffected. Stability Fixed a crash that could occur when upgrading from a previous version. Scanning can now be cancelled at every stage, so dismissing mid-scan stops immediately instead of continuing in the background. Improved Scanning Quality • Smarter Price Detection - Fixed issues where prices were split incorrectly or quantities were fabricated during extraction. Text line grouping is more accurate. • Gas Station Receipts - The app now automatically detects fuel receipts and extracts the fuel grade as the item name and the fuel total as the price. No more confusion from per-liter prices or volume data. • Decimal Quantities - You can now enter fractional quantities like 0.335 kg for weighted items. Works across scanning, editing, and YNAB sync. Upload to YNAB • Always Visible - The Upload to YNAB option now always appears in the receipt menu. If no account is assigned, tapping it explains why and offers a shortcut to edit the receipt.
