Beautiful animations, powerful customization, and support for your own metrics—all in a lightweight menu bar app. A cat will take up residence in your Mac's menu bar and run endlessly! The cat runs at a speed that corresponds to your Mac's CPU usage. By watching how the cat runs, you can tell exactly how heavy the current CPU load is. Why not take a moment to watch the cat while waiting for things like video exports or program builds? You can also have a custom runner instead of the cat by providing a keyframe animation using PNG images with a height of 36px and a width between 10px and 100px. Furthermore, it visualizes system metrics such as CPU usage, memory pressure, storage capacity, battery status, and network connection status. Additionally, you can display custom metrics by specifying a JSON file that follows the RunCat Neo schema. - RunCat Neo is an open-source project. - Developers may terminate support for older macOS versions without prior notice. - "Claude Code" and "Bitcoin" are used in the screenshots solely as examples of custom metrics.
