* Support for coder / proxy login
* Performance / Bug fixes
1.6.3 Oct 14
New:
• Code Keyboard: a built-in keyboard made for coding. Esc, Tab, Ctrl, Cmd, arrow keys, copy, cut, paste, undo and redo sit in its top row, so you no longer need a separate toolbar.
• Stays inside the CodeMan window: in Stage Manager and Split View it only spans CodeMan, and the editor resizes to sit above it.
• New dark design to match the editor, with monospaced keys, an accent-coloured Return key, and a press animation.
• Faster editing: delete and the arrow keys repeat when held. Tap Shift once for one capital, double-tap for caps lock, and use Shift with the arrows to select text.
• Code Keyboard switch in Settings → Interface. Turn it off to go back to the system keyboard for dictation, emoji or other languages.
Fixes:
• Login proxies: fixed an endless sign-in loop for servers behind authentik, Authelia, oauth2-proxy, Cloudflare Access and similar. Their sign-in page links now stay inside the app instead of opening Safari.
• Certificate errors: fixed a certificate error that flickered on and off when the server couldn’t be verified.
• Retry button: Retry now works when the first connection fails.
• Expired certificates: these now show a clear “Certificate Expired” message with steps to fix it.

Multi-server support:
* Codeman now let's you save multiple code-server instance and switch between them seamlessly
Cleanup, bug fixes and performance improvements
1.4.3 May 11
Additional touch / focus related issues
VSCode.dev tunnel connection detection and launch in safari to work around WebKit limitations
1.4.2 May 1
Fix for regression where settings Save / Cancel buttons were hidden
1.4.1 May 1
Today’s update improves CodeMan’s polish and customization:
Added new alternate app icons, including Neon Terminal, Holographic Glass, Cyber Sunset, and Embossed Glyph. The Settings
screen now has larger icon previews and a cleaner sidebar layout that groups related options into focused sections.
The main app experience has also been refined with a more immersive editor view: the old top title strip was removed, the
status bar area now blends with the app chrome, and web content is positioned to avoid overlapping iPad status indicators.
Overall, this release makes CodeMan feel cleaner, more native, and easier to personalize.
1.4 Apr 28
Improved support for private and internal VS Code Server environments.
This update makes custom server validation more flexible for internal domains and reverse-proxied code-server setups,
including non-standard domains such as private enterprise TLDs. CodeMan now lets you proceed with a custom URL after a
warning if automatic detection cannot confirm the server type.
Certificate handling has also been improved. CodeMan now prefers certificates trusted by visionOS, including installed
internal CA certificates, and only uses the “Allow Self-Signed Certificates” option as a fallback for truly untrusted
certificates. This should improve compatibility with internal HTTPS setups required by AI extensions and other secure browser
APIs.
1.3.1 Apr 26
- Window title bar: Added a thin "CodeMan" header so window controls and drag handles are no longer blocked by the webview.
- Arrow keys on the keyboard toolbar: Reordered to left-right-up-down for faster cursor navigation.
- Hold-to-repeat arrows: Press and hold an arrow key on the toolbar to continuously move the cursor — just like a physical keyboard.
- Two-finger tap context menu: Now works inside the File Explorer (and other sidebar lists), not just the editor. Long-press no longer needed to rename files.
- Password auto-submit loop fixed: With a bad server password, the login page no longer reloads endlessly in the background, so you can change settings without losing focus in the input fields.
- Magic Keyboard reattachment: Fixed a race condition where briefly reseating the iPad on the keyboard could trick the app into showing the software keyboard.
- Editor viewport: Fixed a residual white gap at the bottom of the editor after keyboard transitions.
- More Cmd-key shortcuts captured: Cmd+. (command palette alt binding) now passes through to VS Code.
