WHY IT'S DIFFERENT
Other apps treat film tracking like a review platform: write paragraphs, give five stars, log a date. Reel treats it like ranking — because that's actually how taste works. You don't think "this movie is a 7.4." You think "I liked it more than X but less than Y." Reel turns that instinct into a real, ordered list.
And because every film is ranked relative to your other films, your scores stay honest as your taste evolves. The 9.0 you gave at age 12 doesn't trap you forever — re-rank it once and the whole list adjusts.

I’m someone who values great design, which is what I see in Reel. Also really like the ranking feature, which is a bit different than other apps. Looking forward to seeing this grow!

- Your Deck: five films a day, picked from what you ranked, at the top of your Feed. Swipe through them: Want it saves to your watchlist, Seen it ranks it. A new deck every morning.
- Every pick says why. Picks are drawn from the films you ranked, what you liked, and what your friends thought. Open any card and it tells you why it's there.
- The Reel widget: add it to your Home or Lock Screen and today's five are one tap away.
- Top 100 on Reel: the films and shows members put highest in their own ranked lists, updated every day. Explore shows how many you've ranked.
- See who liked a review: tap the like count.
- Search in Explore is one list with filters, so a film, a show or a member is a tap away.
- Fixes: a ranked film always lands where you put it, your lists keep their rank numbers tidy, and a dozen smaller things reported by members.
