We built LocoPast because we kept wondering about the places around us. Every street, building, coastline and landscape has a story, but discovering those stories often meant searching through books, articles and websites. LocoPast is a way to open a map and instantly see the history beneath your feet.
LocoPast is the location-based history map app. We transform the world into an interactive map of human history. Open the app and discover the battles, revolutions, inventions, disasters, cultural movements, scandals and forgotten stories that happened exactly where you're standing - or anywhere else on Earth.
