Camera zoom fix: a pinched full-screen picture now grows across the whole display instead of staying inside the 16:9 band. On iPhone in portrait a camera can be enlarged to the full height of the screen; on iPad the same applies in both orientations. A floor plan with a transparent background (PNG) now stays transparent — the dashboard background shows through, where it used to get a white fill. On the 3D floor plan, sensors now show CO₂, particulates and other measured values, not just temperature and humidity. And after switching pages and back, a camera's name no longer sways and the Live badge no longer blinks.

Big update for the wall panel: screen saver, window-aware layouts, a new way to get Premium. • Screen saver (Premium): large clock, today's calendar, weather and one camera snapshot instead of a dark screen. Brightness and night hours adjustable. • Rotates with iPad and iPhone: portrait shows the scrolling layout, a wall panel locks to landscape. • Premium as a one-time purchase: buy once, keep forever. • New tiles: photo slideshow, Reminders ticked off on the panel, temperature history chart. • 3D floor plan: long-press a light for brightness and colours; light and blind groups and Shortcuts fit on the plan. • Air conditioners: setting a temperature turns them on, cooling shows a snowflake. • Settings lock with a six-digit code, live camera previews optionally always on, camera settings under Cameras. • Ready for iOS 27. Fixed RTSP from MediaMTX and similar servers.

The app now speaks sixteen languages, and a few things got noticeably easier. • Croatian and Finnish: the fifteenth and sixteenth languages of the app. • App language in settings: a row shows which language the panel speaks and opens system settings, where the language can be switched for this app alone. • Zoom a full-screen camera with two fingers and pan by dragging. • In the floor plan editor a device can no longer be dropped on top of another — it moves aside on its own. • The doorbell keeps the call controls under the picture and the locks stacked on the right, within thumb's reach.

Now you arrange the tiles yourself. • Free layout: press and drag a tile anywhere, resize it by the corner handle. Every device on its own, so two thermostats no longer have to sit side by side. iPad has pages you swipe between, iPhone one scrolling screen. • Hide a tile with the minus in its corner, straight from the dashboard. • A doorbell like on Apple TV: when someone rings, the panel wakes the display, opens that doorbell's camera full screen on its own and adds a bar of the locks, gates and garage doors you picked. • Set light brightness with a slider right on the tile; the panel keeps colours and white temperature. • Weather through the day too: a second tile with the hourly forecast. • Holidays and name days on the clock tile, when you switch them on. • Shortcuts from the Shortcuts app as a tile with a button, and a time-lapse from a camera with a button in full screen (Premium). • Solar power: for the light sensor a bridge uses to carry inverter data, pick a unit (W, kW, %) and an icon — production, consumption, grid draw, feed-in, battery. • Air quality: the rating in words plus measured CO₂ in ppm, particulates and volatile compounds in µg/m³. • A clock with the date as a tile of its own. • RTSP cameras now handle H.265 as well, and their audio is fixed. Close a full-screen camera by dragging it down. • Each floor of the 3D plan gets its own tile, so two can sit side by side. • The panel reads the state of locks, gates, sensors and the alarm by itself. Until it knows, it doesn't claim unlocked — it shows that it is checking. • In settings every page closes with the Done button, even from deep inside. Locks, gates and windows sit in one section. • Many bug fixes, among them a crash while reading from the network and a camera that stayed black after a single error response. Your layout carries over on first launch — nothing from your selection is lost.

• Apple Music player (Premium): a new music block on the dashboard — playback, your playlists and recently played. You choose where it plays via AirPlay right in the app; the volume is the system volume, so it applies to a HomePod too. Requires an Apple Music subscription • Audio for RTSP cameras: cameras streaming G.711 or AAC now have sound as well — switch it on with a button in the camera detail. The audio plays only there and switches off when you close the detail, so you don't end up with four cameras talking at once on the wall • Listening on HomeKit cameras: until now the audio only came on while you were talking and was muted again afterwards. The detail view now has a Listen button for listening on its own • When camera audio is playing, the music stops and starts again once you switch the audio off — but only if it really was playing before • Dark app icon (iOS 18+): a dark version of the icon is used on a dark Home Screen • Room name on tiles: the room appears in small type under the device name. It is left out when the room has the same name as the device, and for groups whose members are in different rooms • Blinds in one-percent steps: the position and the slat tilt are now set in 1% steps instead of 5% • New languages: British English, Swedish, Dutch and Hebrew — the app now comes in 14 languages. Hebrew is the first right-to-left language, so the whole layout flips for it • A review of every language: 267 corrections across twelve languages — grammar, plural forms in the live counters and renaming Apple ID to today's Apple Account • Thermometers: the settings now explain why HomePod isn't among them — Apple doesn't make its temperature available to apps other than Home, so only the Home app can get to it • A custom device icon now applies to tiles as well: you pick it in the Lights and switches settings or in the 3D floor plan editor, and it shows up in both places. It works for groups from the Home app too • Locks now have a menu like blinds: tapping the tile or the icon in the floor plan opens Lock and Unlock as separate options, instead of the single toggle used until now. For gates and garage doors it's Open and Close • Door opening on locks that can do it (Nuki, tedee): you switch it on for the individual lock in the settings and try it out right away. On the tile it is then triggered by touching and holding rather than tapping, so it can't be set off by accident on the wall • The lock state now updates by itself — unlocking with a key or from another app shows up straight away • Animated launch screen (iPad): when the app starts, a little house builds itself up and then hands over to the dashboard. Tap to skip it • Tiles now line up to the same height, including where a device has the same name as the room

• Time-lapse from an RTSP camera: start it in the camera detail with an interval from 5 s to 5 min and a length of up to 12 hours — the result is saved to Photos as a single video. It keeps running after you close the camera and after the display goes dark • Locks and gates: a new section with tiles for locks, gates and garage doors — tap to lock or open; choose an icon for each one (lock, sliding gate, swing gate, garage door) that also applies to the 3D floor plan, where they can now be operated too • Background choice: pick one of three built-in backgrounds in Appearance, each with a preview — your own color and photo from the library stay available • An active scene is highlighted on the dashboard as long as its settings match the real state of your devices, so you can see what is currently on • Camera detail opens instantly: the tile and the detail share one connection, so there is no longer a few seconds of black • RTSP cameras: standalone cameras outside HomeKit — enter the stream address and the tile plays live video; works even without a HomeKit home. Supported are cameras streaming H.264 over RTSP, such as Hikvision, Dahua, Reolink, Axis, Foscam, Amcrest, Annke, TP-Link Tapo and VIGI, plus restreams from Synology Surveillance Station. HomeKit and RTSP cameras share the free-tier camera limit • Find cameras on the network: in the Cameras settings tap Find cameras on the network — the app scans the neighbourhood and detects the stream address itself on ONVIF cameras; for the others it tests common paths, so usually you don't have to type the address at all • Direct stream for HomeKit cameras: assign an RTSP address to a camera and its detail view plays the direct stream — sharper picture, instant start, no time limit, no audio yet • Thermometers: choose a small or large tile for each one — the fixed Inside/Outside tiles are gone and your existing setup converts automatically; the label now shows the device name • Temperature units: in the Thermometers settings choose °C, °F, or keep it automatic based on your region — applies to thermometers, thermostats, weather and the 3D floor plan • Light brightness and colors (Premium): the large tile of a dimmable light has a new button opening a panel — brightness, color presets, custom color and color temperature; the tile now shows brightness in % • Works for light groups from the Home app too — brightness and color are set for all members at once • Share backup as a file (Premium): send your configuration via the share sheet (AirDrop, Messages…) and load it from a file — works across different Apple accounts, so the whole family can share the setup
