YOUR PROGRESS ON EVERY DEVICE Answers, your review schedule and mock exam results now come together on every iPhone, iPad and Mac signed in to your iCloud account. Nothing to set up: the switch is in Library › Sync. It runs on your own iCloud, so there is still no account to create, and the developer cannot see your progress. Each device keeps its own copy, so studying offline works as before and catches up when you are back online. With sync on, "Reset all progress" clears every device. FREE TO TRY, ONE PRICE FOR EVERYTHING SAMRA Prep is now free to try, with 50 practice answers, a full 80-question mock exam and the whole Library. A single one-time purchase, Full Access, unlocks unlimited practice, mock exams and trainers, with no subscription, on iPhone, iPad and Mac. The free answers and the free mock are shared by your synced devices. If you downloaded before this version, everything stays free for you.

Readiness is now honest. One wrong answer on a topic you have never opened no longer raises your readiness, and unanswered questions in a mock exam no longer count as studied (a blank paper used to show about 26%). A paper one question short of the 70% line no longer reads as a pass because of rounding, and the result text shows the length of the paper you actually sat. Flight Plan Trainer drills can no longer split the flight-plan block in a mock exam. The Home page now centres properly on iPad and Mac.

Pick, then confirm. In practice, tapping an answer now only selects it, so you can change your mind before committing. Press Confirm answer (or Return) to lock it in. With a keyboard, A–D and 1–4 select. The whole question bank has been checked against the current TC AIM (2026-1), the CARs and the MANOBS. 166 questions were corrected or brought up to date, including the FIC en-route frequencies, North Atlantic entry now that oceanic clearances are no longer issued, the mid-level SIGWX chart limits, and several answers and options that needed sharpening. The options were rebalanced again, so neither the longest nor the shortest option gives the answer away. The Flight Plan Trainer and Calculation Drills have been rebuilt. The FREM column now shows fuel on board, as in Transport Canada's sample computer flight plan. There are new questions on en-route fuel checks, time over a fix and minimum diversion fuel, with realistic routes, magnetic tracks and cruising levels. Every generated question type was checked across millions of samples for a single correct answer and fair options. Also: the flight plan opens full-page on iPad, and there are small layout refinements in the exam.

Now on Mac, as well as iPhone and iPad. Question options have been rebalanced across the whole 457-question bank so the correct answer is no longer usually the longest one. Practice scores now reflect what you actually know rather than a guessing strategy the real exam will not reward. Some questions now hand you a printed appendix the way the exam does — a full METAR/SPECI sheet, TAF or NOTAM to read from, rather than a fragment quoted in the question. Also: the flight plan no longer clips on iPad or Mac, the appendix is available again when reviewing a finished mock exam, Focus Next lists the topics you are genuinely weakest at instead of ones you have never opened, and the iPad and Mac layouts use the full window.

Fixed topic and readiness percentages, which were reading lower than your actual performance. Answering a question correctly the first time now counts in full, so the numbers reflect what you would score today. Each topic also shows how many of its questions you have practised.
