Contrail has no servers, no account, and no analytics — your map is built entirely on your device. Your photos and your trips stay on your phone unless you choose to share them yourself.
BUILT TO BE HONEST
Every number Contrail shows is computed from your own library. Nothing is estimated.
YOU KNOW BEST
Automatic trip detection is very good, but not perfect. A stray photo someone sent you can land in the wrong place. So every trip is editable: rename it, fix its countries, add or remove photos, or delete it outright. And when you come back from somewhere new, one tap adds just the new photos without touching anything you've already corrected.
REQUIREMENTS
Contrail needs access to your photo library to read photo dates and locations. Photos without location data are simply skipped. Screenshots are ignored, so a screenshotted map doesn't turn into a country you never visited.
Works fully offline. No subscription.
