BLACK DICE is a dark dice roguelite built around a familiar five-dice, thirteen-category score sheet — then twisted with Bargains, Dread, Relics, Curses, Haunted Categories, and escalating table rules.
Roll up to three times each turn, hold the dice you want to keep, and commit your result to the score sheet. The core is easy to understand. The danger comes from everything layered on top.
BARGAINS
Accept optional contracts that can dramatically increase your score or improve your run. Complete the condition and claim the reward. Fail, and the listed consequence applies.
DREAD
Dread tracks how hostile the table has become. Higher Dread brings greater danger, stronger effects, and the possibility of losing the run entirely.
RELICS AND BUILDS
Collect Relics that alter scoring, dice manipulation, Bargains, Dread, and category strategy. Combine effects to create different run identities and scoring engines.
HAUNTED CATEGORIES AND CURSES
Score boxes can become more valuable, more dangerous, or both. Adapt your plan as the sheet changes around you.
HOUSE DUE
Each Table demands a minimum score. Bargain rewards count, so taking risks can be the difference between clearing the Table and losing the run.

Survive six increasingly dangerous Tables, then decide whether to Cash Out or keep going deeper.
