I’m surprised with the fact that the app description describes an annual fee of $30 which I’m already quite hesitant to pay not because it’s overly expensive, in and of itself, but because there are several Membership situations out there that accumulate to a lot of money per month (e.g. Netflix, Spotify and this app, or that app etc.). Regardless, I thought I’d give it a one year try (as two weeks is simply not a long enough trial period in these modern days of busyness) . So, when I downloaded the app and got to the page that suggested a membership, the fee was $40 not $30 as advertised. Keep your advertisement current people!Perhaps, also take a lesson from the TV and music apps. They give access to limited content which allows the new user to choose if they want more but can also enjoy some of the content free from fees. Perhaps you don’t need the business but I think in this way you might also get more subscriptions. Also, TV apps give a longer trial period. I think that this is better for a person trying to make a decision whether or not they’re going to invest in yet another application that requires a subscription. And, for the company’s potential benefit, might also give the person trial’ing enough time to fall in love with it and want to subscribe. So, my first impressions of the app are disappointing.
Hi rkma46, Thanks for this detailed feedback. We're sorry the fee didn't account for the changes in currency conversion from US to Canadian dollars. Our team is looking into changing this so it's more transparent. Also, we appreciate your feedback about the trial period length. We're constantly looking to improve, and we value your thoughts.
