Decent basic application

If all you need is a simple flat file database, this does the job. Not as elegant as the old Bento offering in format control. Needs field level format controls for currency, date layouts etc to be truly effective. Sync to iDevice is nicely straightforward and works well although changes on both devices between syncs can be problematic, particularly if you have made field modifications.I notice that buyers wanted currency formats 5 years ago, so I am concerned about how much attention this app gets from its maker.
Simple yet amazingly powerful for the price

My needs were simple - a database for contacts capable of both card view and table view, decent filter/search functions, flexible, stability and reliability, on the desktop not the Cloud, available at a reasonable price. iDatabase meets all these needs and for incredible value for the price. It works, so I can get on with tasks without really noticing the software. It backs up, exports, imports CSV easily. I’m delighted with this software. Can I think of any improvements? Only one - some way to change the field name font/size/colour compared to the Data font/size/colour. The two are too similar in card view. My thanks to the developers.
Great Database for simple tasks

I found this to be a great database for storing and quickly accessing foreign language data. Specifically, I use it for accessing verbal forms in Sanskrit by their root form.

NO AFTER-SALES SERVICE OR SUPPORT.Would not recommend. I had been using the application for several years. Simple software but it did the job for me. When I upgraded to Sonoma for Mac, it was recommended that I upgrade to the new version of iDatabase from Apimac. I bought it for $42 on May 18. And since I installed the update and entered the right activation key, nothing works anymore. I can open the software, I can see my data but all the text and photo fields are crossed out, it's impossible to change a photo or text. Since then I've opened 3 service tickets and haven't heard from anyone. My old version worked very well even on OS Sonoma, but as I was told it would be better to update iDatabase to the version written for the new Apple chips, but it's the opposite, my software no longer works and as they recommended deleting the previous version, I no longer have access to my databases and can't even create a new one. ATT IF YOU UPDATE YOUR MAC TO SONOMA, NOTHING WILL WORK AFTERWARDS.
