This seal records the exact time the photo was taken and the precise location of your device at that moment. If anything in the photo is changed after it was taken — even slightly — the seal will no longer match, and the photo will fail a verification check. Automatic Fake Detection Before any photo is saved, iMetch checks whether what your camera is pointed at is a real scene or a screen showing an existing photo. This happens automatically, every time, before the shutter completes. You will see a clear message telling you the photo looks like a rephoto, and you will be given the option to retake.
