Karla is a personal bot that lives in your pocket or purse to help with your mental health and wellbeing. She was created by Synchronous Health based on decades of science and evidence-based practice, using experts from the fields of psychological counseling, lifestyle medicine, wellbeing, artificial intelligence, privacy, and human-centered design. However, Karla is not a substitute for licensed professional help.
Access to Karla is typically provided as part of a comprehensive mental wellbeing program including licensed counselors or coaches, so check to make sure you are part of one of these programs before installing, as Karla works exclusively when humans and technology come together in just the right combination to improve life.
Whether you are living with anxiety, depression, stress, or other life issues, Karla is available anytime, anywhere with evidence-based exercises to develop skills and resilience to change your life. Karla’s repertoire of support is continually expanding and includes mental health interventions and other programs that have been shown to improve people’s lives.
As a liaison to therapeutic professionals, Karla extends the experience between visits by delivering the skills and exercises learned in session in the moment they are needed. Karla does not provide medical diagnoses or treatment advice. She helps scale human compassion authentically and should be used with professional medical advice.
