LoadMemo Driver 1.0.31 - Major Reliability Update
We've completely rebuilt our photo upload system from the ground up to ensure your delivery documentation never gets lost, even in areas with poor connectivity.
BULLETPROOF PHOTO UPLOADS
The all-new upload queue system ensures every photo you take gets delivered to the cloud - guaranteed. Here's how it works:
Offline-First Architecture: Take photos anywhere, anytime. No signal? No problem. Photos are securely stored on your device and automatically upload when connectivity returns.
Smart Retry System: If an upload fails, the app automatically retries with intelligent backoff - 5 seconds, 15 seconds, 30 seconds, 1 minute, then 2 minutes. Five retry attempts before marking as failed.
Upload Status Indicator: A new badge in the header shows exactly what's happening with your photos. Blue means uploading, orange means retrying, green means all done. Tap it for full details.
Background Processing: Switch between screens, check other loads, or even close the app briefly - uploads continue in the background.
Gallery Backup (iOS): Every photo is automatically saved to your device's LoadMemo Photos album as a backup, so you always have a copy.
VEHICLE-SPECIFIC PHOTO ORGANIZATION
Photos are now tagged with vehicle information. When you take pickup or delivery photos, they're automatically associated with the specific vehicle (Year, Make, Model, VIN). This makes it easier for dispatchers to match photos with vehicles on multi-car loads.
FASTER BOL GENERATION
We've optimized the Bill of Lading page for faster PDF generation. Signature images now preload in the background as soon as the page opens. A loading indicator shows progress. Once ready, PDF generation is instant with no more waiting. The layout is cleaner and optimized for printing and saving.
IMPROVED SIGNATURE CAPTURE
The signature modal is now more responsive across all device sizes. Signatures include GPS location data for verification purposes.
TECHNICAL IMPROVEMENTS
Fixed an issue where uploads could get stuck if the app was backgrounded during upload. Added 60-second timeout protection to prevent hanging uploads. Improved memory management for better performance on older devices. Fixed camera flash toggle on Android devices. Better error messages when something goes wrong.
CROSS-PLATFORM CONSISTENCY
This update brings feature parity between iOS and Android. Both platforms now use the same optimized upload system, ensuring consistent behavior regardless of your device.
RELIABILITY YOU CAN COUNT ON
We know your photos are critical documentation. That's why we've added multiple layers of protection. Photos are saved locally first before upload attempt. Images are compressed for faster uploads at 1920px width and 80% quality. Everything is queued with metadata for retry capability. Status is tracked and visible to you at all times. You receive permanent failure notification if all retries are exhausted.
PRO TIPS
Check the upload indicator before ending your shift to ensure all photos synced. If you see orange retrying status, find better signal and the app will handle the rest. Tap the indicator anytime to see detailed queue status. Use the Retry All button if you had connectivity issues.
