See how far a render has got, stop it anytime, and set up the code editor the way you like it. • While a scene renders, the preview shows how far along it is, and a Stop button ends it right away • New editor settings: choose the font, font size and line spacing, and turn on line numbers, current-line highlighting, a line-length guide or visible spaces. With a keyboard, ⌘/ comments or uncomments the selected lines • The Workspace is still free to write, run and preview. On the free plan, videos and images you export carry a small app badge — a one-time Workspace unlock removes it, and it's already included if you've unlocked all the courses • Fixed a crash when pasting a long block of code on iPad, and an error that could show up when coloring part of a formula

Faster rendering and a round of fixes. • Videos render much faster — about 5× at 1080p — and combined or cut shapes come out with smoother edges • Text colors and font styles now display correctly (they used to come out plain white), and a scene with no animation gives you a still image instead of an error • Workspace fixes: creating a new project no longer shows a "file not found" error, deleting a project asks you to confirm first, pasted code with tab indentation just works, and the black strip at the bottom of the screen with an external keyboard on iPad is gone

The Playground grows up: it's now a Workspace — real projects, multiple files, and your own assets.
