The image slide screen has been improved. Photo zooming and dragging are now smoother, and a new feature has been added that plays photos like a video. Try viewing your uploaded photos or the photos shared in Marchive like a story album on your smartphone!

We improved the Story Archive home screen. We improved the feature that lets you create a collection directly from a notification. In the image slider, tapping the play button will play the photos like a video.

A brand new Home screen for Marchive is here! Instead of a simple image list, you can now explore Marchives and collections as stories. See what stories are being captured and remembered.

A new SNS-style home screen has been added. When you tap the share button in your photo album, the Marchive app appears. You can create a collection instantly.

Marchive has been significantly updated! - The Home feed now displays your collections in a tile layout. Improved the photo add experience in Collections. When you add a photo, the collection date is automatically set based on the photo’s metadata date.

We’ve improved photo uploads so you can select photos directly from your library inside the app. It’s now easier to browse and scroll through your photo library. Dates are shown while scrolling, making it simpler to find older photos. We also added notification settings, which you can manage in the Settings screen.

When you upload photos to a collection, the collection date is now automatically set based on the date metadata of the first photo. Calendar date formats now adapt correctly to your selected language. Your preferred view (card or list) in the Marchive list is now saved and restored even after restarting the app.

The Marchive list screen can now be viewed in Card or List mode. Choose the style you prefer! Time zone settings have been added. When you log in, your time zone is automatically set based on your current location. We’ve improved features in the Collection detail screen and chat rooms.

Added a splash screen with the Marchive logo. Updated the photo album UI on the Marchive detail screen.

We’ve made some performance optimizations. For now, we removed the Home screen because it didn’t feel essential — but it’ll be back soon, better than ever!!

The app has been improved. We added a feature that lets you customize the background color. We also updated collections so you can save more photos in each one.

We’ve removed the level system for now since we can’t offer appropriate rewards yet. We’ll improve it and release it again once we’re able to provide meaningful rewards. We’ve also updated the data refresh flow after creating a Marchive and creating a collection. A new feature has been added to help test Arc tokens.

We gave the app a little speed boost — it’s not a rocket, but it’s definitely quicker. You can now leave a chat room and hop back in anytime (no hard feelings). We also made the settings more intuitive, so you spend less time tapping and more time enjoying. We’ll keep polishing the experience — one update at a time.
