With this app and with Mio, the Robot, you can discover robotics and coding!
Mio, the Robot is the perfect tool to introduce you to the world of robotics and programming in an easy and fun way.
Thanks to the microphone, infrared sensors and lots of challenging play activities, this robot will turn into your inseparable friend.
The app will allow you to play with the robot in two different ways:
- REAL TIME
In this section, you can command the robot in real time as if you were using a remote control. Mio, the Robot will faithfully execute all your commands (movements, sounds, light effects).
- CODING
In this area, you can arrange commands in sequence, creating actual programming strings and even add conditions. This will help you to train your logical abilities and problem-solving skills.
The app’s graphics are designed for being user friendly and for being used without any difficulty and intuitively by children older than 8 years.
The app communicates with the robot thanks to high-frequency sounds which are associated with commands. Being scarcely audible, the communication will appear to be magical!
Thanks to the microphone, the robot can hear these types of sounds, decode them without any difficulty, and then execute the corresponding commands.

Quelle arnaque !!!
Pièces en plastique et composantes plutôt fragiles. Instructions d’assemblage pas trop claires. Je ne vois pas comment un enfant de 8 ans pourrait assembler ce robot par lui-même. Parfois, il fait assez forcer pour ajuster les pièces, au risque de casser quelque chose.
L’option « programmation », raison principale de mon achat, est complètement ridicule. On explique que ça fonctionne aux ultrasons, mais rien ne se passe. Ça ne fonctionne tout simplement pas !! Je l’ai pourtant essayé sur des plateformes et avec des appareils différents et très récents (iPad, iPhone,…).
Sérieusement, c’est dégoûtant de se faire arnaquer comme ça par une compagnie qui met en vente ses jouets dysfonctionnels ! Tout le blabla technique pourtant invitant sur la boîte et dans le livret ne sont que poudre aux yeux. L’aspect « programmation » ne fonctionne tout simplement pas !
Évites déception et perte d’argent ! N’ACHETEZ PAS CE JOUET !!
