MOBELEASH 4+

I’ve been looking for an app like this for a few years now. Works exactly as intended! If you leave your phone behind you will not only het a notification but how far away it is.

In Version 1.0.3 we have updated Mobeleash in relation to recent iOS and watchOS releases.

We updated the Setup Process, made it more user-friendly and corrected the Notification bugs that appeared recently.

We added a “Travel” Notification Setting, which is a very “short leash”. When you are travelling the goal is to notify you as soon as possible of changes to your iPhone Status (iPhone Status being one of the four Notification types Close-by, Missing, Lost or Open iPhone App). Whether you are commuting for work or flying away on vacation, losing or forgetting your iPhone in an airport or train station or leaving it on an airplane, train, ferry, ski lift, mountain top or in a cozy coffee shop, restroom, rental car, tour bus or at the beach could mean a lost phone leaving you with no access to your friends, maps, travel schedules, emergency services etc. The “Travel” setting is designed to reduce iPhone losses in these often congested and hurried situations. You can toggle back to the “Default” setting anytime.
User Tip: Mobeleash works in Airplane mode.

We also made Mobeleash more universal by colour-coding the Notifications. You now have a Green Mobeleash logo for “iPhone Close-by?” an Amber Mobeleash logo for “iPhone Missing?” and a Red Mobeleash logo for “iPhone Lost?”. The “Open iPhone App” and other Mobeleash Notifications remain Blue. Your iPhone Status in text form remains.

NEW - Mobeleash Complication
A Graphic Circular Complication to view your iPhone’s Mobeleash Status anytime with a quick glance at your Apple Watch face.
Note: The Mobeleash Complication is available when using the Infograph and or Infograph Modular watch faces, which are only available on Apple Watch Series 4, size 40 and 44mm.

NEW - Mobeleash Help-Find
As you know Mobeleash works by alerting you from your Apple Watch when you are leaving your iPhone behind … so you can go-get-it! If you do leave your iPhone somewhere, the Mobeleash Help-Find feature will provide you with information about when and whereabouts your iPhone went missing. How long it has been missing, an estimate of how far away you are from where your iPhone’s Mobeleash Status changed from Close-by to Missing and an estimated walk-time. This Long Look Mobeleash Notification information is designed to help you decide how best to proceed in the situation.

All Help-Find information is on your Apple Watch when you need it most, no need to access a secondary device or the Internet.

UPDATED - Mobeleash Alerting Sensitivity
We listened to your feedback regarding alerting sensitivity and with a ton more testing we tuned the alerting sensitivity.

Note: given Mobeleash’s ability to recalibrate for the confined and open settings you pass through, Mobeleash may take time to calibrate post Setup.

Note: when doing an Apple iOS or watchOS update you can expect Mobeleash to alert iPhone Lost given that such OS update would likely reboot the device, temporarily disrupting the Bluetooth connection. When the reboot is complete, Mobeleash will alert iPhone Close-by (assuming that is the case).

Does not work with iOS14 & watchOS7

Hi raselhasan, sorry you are having issues with your MOBELEASH.

The App works well with iOS14 and watchOS7. Based on our experience your issue is likely related to the User Permissions. Please do a quick check. You can do this easily by opening MOBELEASH on your iPhone / tap the Menu icon top right / App Settings / here you should have all three user Permissions "ticked".  If you find one or more User Permission (Location, Bluetooth or Notifications) has an "X" please use the link shown there and allow that User Permission "Always".

Please make sure to leave MOBELEASH Open on your iPhone in the background.
