So, for the past 8 weeks I have been trying to contact a representative from Mylo to delete my account. None of my in app conversations were acknowledged, never received any replies from my emails, and this company has NO phone number to contact. Today, this changed, when I threatened to open a legal case with them. Within 5 minutes I had email confirmation of account closure, and my information was finally deleted. Followed were more emails apologizing for the horrible service, but it was too late. Not to mention the $3 fee I was being charged every month during this process, which I never agreed to! I did agreed to pay $1/month for their service, but of course they took $3! This is a very shoddy business, I would never recommend anyone use this service. This company is SCAMMING its customers. Most banks offer this service now anyways so PLEASE, skip the headache and do not get this app. I know the developer will respond saying it isn’t a scam, but I urge you to read more reviews and do more research as you will see otherwise!

Our mission at Mylo is to help users reach their financial goals and this at a very low monthly fee that is fair and one of the best fixed-rate fees you can find for this kind of service. I can assure you that we have no motive to scam our customers out of their hard-earned money that they are trying to save. Financial success is what we strive to help all our users achieve, in an easy and modern way. Our plans are 1$ or 3$ per month depending on the type of investment account you choose with our investment partners, we do communicate this to our users in our program agreement and more recently also by email upon the creation of their account in order to be as upfront and transparent about the fee as possible.
We are sorry that you feel this way about your experience and feel terrible that you feel let down by our service. We also regret that we will not have the opportunity to continue to help you with achieving your goals.
I do wish to clarify that 8 weeks ago we did respond to your query and asked you for feedback and confirmation and did not receive either until today when you messaged us again. We closed your account at your request today, not because you threatened us with legal action but because you simply confirmed that you wanted your account closed.

- I inquired about ‘ethical investing’ opportunities, as I don’t want to support specific industries. Was told they are collecting info but not available at the time. Meanwhile at Wealthsimple 👀
Overall still a great app that I love to use, just wish they’d address some of the concerns on the reviews.

I was lucky enough to get to try the beta version and it was really bumpy. Made me nervous for the release but with he launch came a really stable app that syncs perfectly with my account. I'm sure more features are coming, but their customer service team has made this experience exciting. Finally an investment program that is accessible, easy, and works with my spending habits. Now the more I spend, the more I save!
