What’s new! We’ve introduced new in-app and push notifications to help job seekers stay on top of their saved opportunities: 24-hour reminder: Get notified to apply for a saved job if you haven’t applied within 24 hours. 7-day reminder before job expiry: Receive a nudge 7 days before a saved job expires, encouraging timely applications. In this version, we’ve made updates and enhancements. Check out what’s new: Jobs Enhancements: 1. Recruiters can easily copy job links from the job page to share with candidates. 2. A helpful tooltip introduces members to the Matched Jobs feature for better discoverability. 3. Applicants with low match scores who haven’t updated their resume in 30 days will see a prompt to re-upload for improved results. 4. Members can now view Matched Jobs directly on each community’s details page. 5. Jobs can be shared externally via social media or within the Obsidi® network with just a few taps. 6. After applying via a job URL, applicants will now see a “View Again” button instead of “Apply Now.” For jobs without an job link, the status now shows as “Applied,” offering a clearer, more consistent experience. Profile Auto-Update: 1. Uploading a resume will now automatically update your profile in the background—no manual edits needed. 2. A success message confirms when your profile has been updated.

Here’s What’s New Matched Jobs: Discover jobs that fit you! Access Matched Jobs from the Jobs tab. First-time users see a helpful pop-up to explore matches if you’re already matched. Upload your resume to improve results, track progress with indicators, and view your Best or Low Match jobs. If no matches appear, click “Notify Me” to get alerts. AI-Powered Matched Jobs Based on Resume: Members who have uploaded their resume on Obsidi will now see matched job recommendations via a one-time bottom sheet pop-up. Clicking on “See all” will redirect them to the Jobs page, where a new Matched Jobs tab has been introduced. These jobs are AI-generated based on the member’s resume, with the highest-scoring matches shown at the top for better relevance and visibility. Improvement & Fixes: Event page banner update and redirection to BFUTR 2025 url Community post will be visible on tea spot only to members of the respective community. We’ve optimized and refactored key components of the app to enhance overall performance and minimize the risk of crashes—resulting in a smoother and more reliable user experience. Fixed an issue blocking certain external domains on google sign in. Improved Google sign-in flow—users no longer need to re-authenticate, as profile info is now retained for a smoother experience.

With this new version, we’ve introduced a few exciting updates to improve member engagement and event visibility Event details page: The Event Details page now features a "Know Your Host" section, where members can view information about the event host and presenters, making it easier to connect and engage with the people behind the event. If the event sponsor is one of our partners, their active job listings will now appear directly on the event details page — helping members explore relevant opportunities more easily. Community welcome flow: To boost interaction, once a member joins a community, we now prompt and redirect them to introduce themselves via a post. This encourages engagement and helps other members get to know who's new. New Feedback Form After Post Creation: We’ve added a quick feedback form that appears after a user creates a post. This helps us understand their experience and gather valuable insights—supporting future improvements and contributing to our NPS (Net Promoter Score) efforts. Improvement & Fixes: Resolved an issue where community names were not visible in the post audience list when the number of selected communities exceeded certain number. All selected communities are now correctly displayed. Updated the Audit Global UI Components button styling to align with WCAG accessibility compliance standards. With this new version of app, we’ve updated the Event details page with a sleek new UI and some powerful enhancements: - New speaker section for a more engaging and organized view of event speakers - Updated agenda section for clearer agenda breakdowns - We’ve added a Share button to the Event Details page, making it easier than ever to share events with your network on social media or messaging platforms. Spread the word and invite others with just a tap! Also, a new push feed notification will now be sent to community admins who haven't invited any members yet, or if their community currently has no members. This version brings a set of enhancements to improve your experience. What's new -> Event list page: 1. We’ve updated the Event List Page with an improved UI for a more seamless browsing experience. 2. Event cards now feature a share icon, allowing members to quickly share event links with their connections or externally via LinkedIn, WhatsApp, Facebook, Email, or by simply copying the link. 3. Members will now receive a push feed notification when an event is shared with them. 4. In addition, event cards will now display status tags indicating seat availability — such as High Demand, Closing Soon, Limited Seats, and Sold Out — helping users make faster decisions when registering. Community improvement: 1. Community Admins will now receive a in-app notification when no new posts have been created in their community. These gentle reminders, sent every Tuesday and Friday, encourage admins to stay active by sharing updates or content to keep their communities engaged. 2. We’ve enhanced community visibility by sharing posts from public communities on the Tea Spot. This allows more members to discover and join communities through engaging content. 3. Only members who have joined the community can engage with the post (like, comment, repost). 4. Private community posts will only be visible on Tea Spot to members who are part of that specific private group.

What’s New: Community Groups Are Here! We’re excited to introduce Community Groups – a new space on Obsidi where members can connect, collaborate, and engage around shared interests. Key Features * Create Public or Private Groups: Members can start their own communities, inviting internal and external contacts. * Easy Sharing: Share invite links via LinkedIn, WhatsApp, Facebook, Email, or other apps on your device. * Quick Access: Find the Community icon in the footer of the mobile app or in the navigation bar on the web. * Engage with Content: Post, comment, and react inside communities. * Join or Leave Freely: Public groups are open; private ones require approval or an invite. * Manage Communities: Admins and moderators can invite members, assign roles, and manage posts. A dedicated “Communities You Manage” section on web helps streamline admin tasks. Community Roles & Permissions * Moderator: Invite/remove members, delete posts/threads. * Admin: Moderator rights + assign roles. * Owner Admin: All admin rights + approve join requests and edit community settings. We've updated the Obsidi app to make your experience feel more seamless, and engaging: 1. Members now receive push and in-app notifications when someone replies to their comments. 2. The "Create Post" floating icon on Tea Spot has been replaced with a more accessible "Share Your Thoughts" section. 3. Easily view all the companies you follow under the new ‘Companies’ tab on the My Tribe page. The My Tribe page also gets a fresh design update. 4. Members will now see "Already registered" to clearly indicate their registration status for TechTalk events.

With this release we’ve introduced Suggested Connections feature on the mobile app under My Tribe . Suggestions are generated based on profile matching across key data points such as area of expertise, industry, and location. Members can dismiss a suggestion and provide instant feedback on why a suggestion wasn't relevant. Plus, DMs and posts now correctly render email addresses as clickable links. This new version brings many exciting features and enhancements! Hashtag : Clicking a hashtag now takes users to a dedicated page, making content discovery and engagement more seamless. Improved Posting Experience: * A new floating icon for quick access to video, photo, and poll options. * Post description limit increased to 3,000 characters for more detailed sharing. Polls for Engagement: * Members can create polls directly from the feed to gather opinions. * Anyone can vote, see real-time results, and engage in discussions. * Poll owners receive push notifications when someone votes. Threaded Replies & Reactions: * Reply directly to comments in organized threads. * Latest replies appear under the original comment for better readability. * Like, edit, delete, and react to comments and replies for richer discussions. With the latest Obsidi update, members can now manage their email notification preferences from settings & privacy. We're also introducing image cropping for uploads and new nudges to help complete profiles, along with other improvements and fixes!

Bug Fix: Fixed a bug that prevented SSO Google users from logging in successfully.

With this latest version, members can now tag other users using @username in posts and comments and add hashtags (#yourtext) to categorize content. Along with improvement which includes, unread notification count on Pings icon and unread message count on Chat icon and more. Enjoy the new update and engage seamlessly!

With this new version, stay updated with the Notifications/Pings feature for key activities, including when other members comment on, react to, or share your post, when a new event is launched, when you receive a connection request, and more. To enhance user experience and reduce clutter, notifications/pings for comments and reactions will now be grouped. This ensures you won't receive multiple notifications for similar activities, making it easier to stay organized. Members can now delete individual notifications, giving you more control over your notification list. Improvements & Fixes: Members will now see an "Update" notification when a new version of the app is available. They can choose to update to the latest version directly, ensuring access to the newest features and improvements. Fixed an issue where the keyboard hindered a smooth experience when interacting with long posts. Users can now seamlessly compose and edit without interruptions The reaction count bug has been fixed. Posts will now display accurate numbers for all users.
