I used it to bring a paper copy of my Last Will and Testament into the computer for updating and editing. Lots of reformatting, but the text was there. It even tried to work on some handwritten notes in the margin!

I am very impressed with this application. I had a 700 page scanned pdf of a family tree that was poorly photocopied back in 1984. This application (the pro version) still managed to make a totally searchable pdf from that.

I have tried many other OCR app on the same scanned material. I have had a paid version of Abbyy for a year and this app beats it. It outruns the big compagnies in speed, quality, and the absence of bugs while running. I paid the life-time pro version without hesitation! This app comes from the future!
