Deceiving and misleading ways to get you to pay for things

I’ve never had a problem with this app until recently. I wish I could give 0 stars, but unfortunately it isn’t an option. I guess mail.ru is short on cash, I cannot explain any other reason they would be scrounging for money like they are at the moment. I decided to get $2.79 worth of OK money for gifts, to try out. My relatives seem to like the gesture, so why not? Couple of days ago I saw a whole line of ‘free gifts’ I could send. ‘How nice’- I thought, and sent a few to friends and relatives. Every time pressing on the gift that had a price tag of ‘0 OK’. Guess what???!!! They weren’t free!!! I contacted their customer service. Naive me thought it was a programming error. Well, according to their customer service, by the way, it was a VERY, VERY unpleasant conversation, it was not their misleading price tags at fault! I was! I was suppose to check the price in the second window before sending. Yeah, on the very bottom, in the corner, in neutral colors, right by your balance, there’s the ACTUAL PRICE of the gift. It’s like going to a store, where they give you FREE samples, and then when you get to the cash register, all of a sudden you owe money for everything you tried. Tsk, tsk, tsk OK & mail.ru. Shame on you. Never spending another penny in your app, and I highly suggest to everyone who decides to purchase something in their app to think twice, and be careful.
