The 'How is it now?' feature is a unique opportunity to create your own modern versions of photos from the past. Find the shooting point of the original photo and try to make your modern version of the photo as close to the original as possible. When shooting, the original photo from the past is displayed over the camera screen for easy selection of the right point, scale and angle. It is not always too easy, but always very interesting. Add interest and meaning to walks with the app and compare how the photographed place has changed over time. Photos taken in the app are not transferred anywhere and are stored locally inside the app on your device. This is your personal diary of walks and explorations.

Automatic loading of the photo list on the map when the viewing area changes is disabled. To update the photo list on the map, the Refresh button has been added, which appears when the viewing area changes. This is done to avoid unnecessary redrawing of the photo list and reduce the load on the pastvu.com server. Highlighting of viewed photos has been added to the map. A button for going to the photo page on pastvu.com has been added to the detailed photo viewing screen.

The Pro version offers functionality for saving your favorite photos as bookmarks and conveniently working with them in a separate section of the application. When you save a bookmark, the photo itself and information about it are saved in your phone's storage and are thus accessible even when you are not connected to the Internet. This feature is convenient to use when preparing for a trip. By saving photos to bookmarks, you can always view them on the spot, regardless of the availability and quality of communication.
