Behind the scenes update. Nothing looks or works differently. The app now connects to Peak's own web addresses instead of the hosting company's. That means we can move servers in future without pushing another app update.

Android: the in app camera now works. It never has before, so job photos and receipts had to go through the phone camera and photo picker. Photos: they no longer get lost if you take them with no signal, the camera closes right away instead of waiting for uploads, and you can add photos from your camera roll to a job. One camera everywhere, with zoom. Location: your trail now restarts on its own if the app gets closed during the day. Also: receipt scanner works for Co-op fuel fills, lighter maps, and job pins match the CRM colours.

Big update. Scan receipts with the camera, it flattens the page and reads the text automatically. Long press the app icon for shortcuts like clock in and snap receipt. When you are clocked in, your lock screen now shows your whole day: hours logged, current job with a live timer, and what is still scheduled. Tap any job on it to jump to that job.

Location fixes. The location icon now shuts off properly when you clock out, and the always on location banner during your shift is gone.

Small update. The app now lets you know when a new version is available, and reports app version for troubleshooting so location issues get fixed faster.

Clocking in and out is faster. The location requirement now works properly, and notifications are now required as well. Reminders are smarter and will only ask about clocking out if you were actually at the job.

Job plans and photos now save to your phone automatically when you are on Wi-Fi. No more pop ups asking if you want to download.
