iPhone
Turn everyday moments into lo-fi video. Explore tactile cameras, worn tape, chunky pixels, and early digital looks—or transform clips you already have.
Plasticam turns your iPhone into a collection of characterful video cameras.
Shoot new footage or import an existing clip, choose a camera, and explore a look inspired by analog tape, toy cameras, early webcams, pocket digital video, and more.
MAKE VIDEO WITH CHARACTER
Explore VHS noise, MiniDV-inspired colour, chunky handheld pixels, soft toy-camera images, hand-cranked motion, and Slit-Scan distortions. Camera-specific controls let you adjust the look.
A CAMERA YOU CAN FEEL
A tactile interface puts the viewfinder, camera picker, zoom, recording controls, and tape or film options together in one place. The framed play button opens your gallery; the cassette button opens camera-media options. Shoot with the front or rear camera in portrait or landscape.
YOUR CLIPS, YOUR LIBRARY
Review completed recordings in Plasticam, save to Photos with your permission, and share videos through the system share sheet. You can also bring in a clip from your photo library and process it with your chosen camera look.
PROCESSED ON YOUR DEVICE
No account is required. Video effects are processed on your device. The live viewfinder provides a preview; some effects are applied during final processing after recording. Keep the app open to finish processing sooner. Completed captures awaiting processing remain on your device and resume when you reopen Plasticam.
