PluralLog is a private, offline-first journal and system management app built for plural systems and those who experience dissociative identity.
Track who's fronting, manage detailed member profiles, keep a shared journal, run polls, and visualize mood trends — all stored on your device, encrypted, with no account required.
When you're ready to share, PluralLog's optional federation lets you connect to a community relay server of your choosing and selectively share with trusted people using the PluralLog Friend companion app. Every piece of data is encrypted before it leaves your device. The server never sees your plaintext.
Features:
• Member profiles with pronouns, roles, custom fields, and profile images
• Front tracking with co-fronts, timeline view, and switch notes
• Journal with emotion tags, author attribution, and markdown support
• Polls for system decisions
• Mood and activity analytics
• Granular sharing permissions per friend
• Instant revocation — keys are re-generated, old access is gone
• Biometric app lock
• Dark theme, calm design — trauma-informed throughout
PluralLog is made by and for plural systems. We avoid diagnostic framing, and assumptions about your structure. Just a tool that works the way you do - with the privacy you deserce.
Federation is completely optional. The app works fully offline, forever, without it.
hi! this app is really well made but i think it’d be nice if you let us add more alters to front, rather than just one
Developer Response
We’ve implemented this feature through cofronting, which can be accessed through long tap or active selection. We’re unsure what a more tiered system would look like — but feel free to share.
Overall good app

We’ve been using this app for about a week now because the app we’ve been using to keep track of our system for over a year is unfortunately shutting down. Switching front is simple and I do like the quick switch feature, although I think it would be nice if you could add multiple Co fronters by long pressing instead of having to go into choose Co front. I really like that creating profiles supports markdown, being able to personalise each profile that little bit more is helpful. I do hope in a future update we can select colour with a colour wheel rather than having to put in a hex code, but it’s simple enough to open ibis paint and select the colour wanted so no issue there. The chatting system feels really nice to use, and I also really like the ability to leave messages on certain people’s profiles for next time they front. My only requested features to add are a colour wheel when making profiles, ability to long press multiple profiles for Co front, and I’d like to be able to sort and organise people into groups (such as by source)Overall this app is great considering its a free resource without any ads, also the fact that it works completely offline without any features being hindered is great, unlike the previous app used. Can’t wait for future updates, I highly recommend this app, and will be showing it to other system friends.
Exactly what i was looking for

As the title reads this was exactly what i was looking for! The UI is clean and functional and its easy to set up profiles and all the statistics are a nice bonus. Im having a little trouble figuring out the federation feature but im pretty sure that's just user error on my part. 5 stars ^^!
Great app! Hope there’s more to come!

Really like this app, and I think it’s well designed! Super duper love the way the statistics look, and that you can see how many journal entries people have made right from their profiles! Very big fanMy top requests would be:- members organized alphabetically, rather that being organized by order of creation in the app. Maybe the option to switch between the two?- Keep the co-fronter system (love that there’s a distinction), but make it so you can have multiple people as just fronting. Some systems can’t tell who the main fronter is, or they’re sharing front enough that listing either as a co-fronter isn’t necessarily accurate- related, if there’s a way I’d love to see a way to add or remove someone from the front lineup without having to reset the timer for how long everyone else has been there- give the ability to set a custom status, that works similar to members fronting. This could be remedied with the journal in theory, but it might be nice to have the option to see it in the statistics charts like you get with members. Even better if you could toggle whether that gets displayed in the chart- a way to add previous front logs. If more than one front change happened while I was unable to access my phone, it’d be really convenient for those of us who like to be stupidly thorough. All that in mind, if none of that was ever added, I would still like this app. Great work!
Refined user experience, added app locks and accessibility features.
