A keyboard at the bottom of the screen can be hard to reach with your thumbs. ReachType is an iPad split keyboard built for thumb typing. Divide the keys into left and right clusters, then use ReachType Pro to adjust bottom and side padding so the keys sit within your reach. Split each row to fit your hands Drag the highlighted gap to choose where each row divides. Each row has its own split point because your thumbs reach different places on different rows. Adjust the keyboard position with Pro Bottom padding lifts the keys. Side padding moves the left and right clusters inward. Portrait and landscape settings are saved separately so each orientation can fit your grip. Choose key sizes and arrangements With Pro, adjust key height and letter-key width, and choose a full key set or a simpler arrangement. Keep the keys you use comfortably within reach. Add the keys you need Pro adds an extra row with Esc, Ctrl, arrows, line start/end and shell history actions. Choose coding, terminal or cursor presets, or make your own row. A little company while you type Pro also adds a cat decoration in the space below the keys. It moves faster as you type faster. Privacy without Full Access ReachType does not require Full Access. The keyboard extension makes no network requests and does not store or transmit what you type. The app contains no analytics, advertising or tracking SDKs. Free features Split and basic layouts, per-row split positions, Korean and English input, and key repeat are free. ReachType Pro (one-time purchase, not a subscription) Unlock bottom and side padding, key height and letter-key width, split key arrangements, the extra key row and the decoration. Purchase or restore Pro in the app. iPad only. Korean and English input are supported. The keyboard position is adjusted through padding settings.
