It helps you understand how your activities impact your sleep health, and it focuses on sleep debt to help you close the gap between the sleep you need and the sleep you get.

Shift work

Thus far I’ve found it very educational and has helped improve my sleep! However, I wish there was a way for the app to accommodate for Shift work. I work alternating day shift and night shift and wish there could be a way to measure and account for that in the app, as well as include that in the adjustable alarms.

Otherwise it has been a great experience!

Best Sleep App Out There

I have sleep problems. Not in the way of insomnia or narcolepsy (though that may be crusted within somewhere). No, I have sleep problems in a way that leaves something missing. Like some lost friend, but a more successful friend. Like and old pet, but one that was let loose in the wild. Sleep is deeply missing in my soul. Sure, it sounds melancholy, and it is. It is introspective and mysteriously present at times of exhaustion and mirth. It is freezing cold and empty in its ever-presence.

The cure, I believe, is this easy prescription: a regular bedtime, blue light glasses, and making steep down payments on sleep debt. Same mattress, same sheets, and same room. The Rise - Sleep app is where those not quite forgotten can find deep sleep again, and reconcile with the root cause of their sleep issues. My deep slumber comes from laying quietly, emptying the contents of my mind, and waiting for a calmness to fill that space. This is the necessity I require shovelled into the hole left from tempurpedics, sleep numbers, massage pillows, and temperature controls. All fine distractions, sure, but the Rise- sleep app? It’s family. A place where restless sleep dissipates, and you realize your dream slumber was there all along. You just wanted an app frill-less and present, where science rules over sparkle and shine. Where everyone can come to learn they’re just a few habit shifts away from a new life.

There’s a million like it, but none the same. The best for your rest. A fiesta of siesta. A nose for your doze. Close the gap to your nap with the Rise sleep app.
