Seems very unnecessary to have to login to check outages and any basic things that you can simply do from the browser without an account login. Very poor update

Have to create an account and password now ….unnecessary. Makes me sign in every time I open the app. All I want the app for is to get notifications when there are planned outages, and for info about unplanned outages for when the power will be back on.Plus, I have to waste more data using the app now just to see when the power is estimated to come back on.

It used to be easy to see the outage map in the event of an emergency. Maybe it wasn’t always updated within moments of your power dropping, but once they knew about it, it would show up. Now you have to log in just to SEE the outage map?!? And finding it is awful, EVERY time I open it, I want to click the ‘notifications’ one, and that doesn’t let me see my notifications, it’s the notifications settings menu!Reporting outages, maybe you want people logged in, but just to SEE? Like a teen home alone and the power goes out. Now they can’t check if it’s the area or if something has gone wrong with the house. People in rural areas, or other adults in homes where they aren’t the person on the power account as well. This went from an all around helpful tool to something that is not really helpful in an emergency. As the person paying half the power bill, and a name on the account, but NOT the person getting the e-bills, this is incredibly stupid. I don’t want to have to log in to see power problems. I only want to log in when I need to deal with my account. ‘Just use the touch passkey option’ that’s an extra, less safe step. I also want the listed notifications page back. Where it had all your notifications of power off or back on one page. Not clicky clicky click to find the right one!
So disappointed with this update.

The new map they have sucks. I used to see land locations and it used to be my full screen but not it’s this little map and I can’t see land locations. I used this map for work for land locations etc. but now I can’t. I also don’t like that you had to make an account especially when I don’t even own a house or need upload a picture when SaskPower has to come to my place to read the meter. If they changed the Map back to what it was. It would be better also the old layout was way better then this new one too
