Scanbound is a roguelike auto-chess game where every barcode hides a Hero. Scan one to meet your Main Hero, recruit a team around it, and watch your squad fight rival Tacticians until only one is left standing. AUTO-CHESS BATTLES Your team fights on its own, round after round, against rival Tacticians. Plan between rounds, adapt to what the shop offers, and be the last Tactician standing. Every run is a fresh roguelike climb. BUILD YOUR TEAM Recruit Supporting Heroes as the run goes, merge copies into stronger ranks, equip Hero Mods and Team Directives, and drag your team into formation on the board. Line up shared traits to unlock powerful synergies. SCAN A HERO Point your camera at any barcode or QR code: a cereal box, a book, a soda can. Every code holds a Hero, and you don't choose it: the Hero, its Weapon, rarity and stats all come from the code you scanned. The same code always reveals the same Hero, so swap codes with friends and hunt for the rare ones. FILL YOUR HERODEX Every run you finish teaches you a Hero: its traits, its Weapons and its looks. The more Heroes you know, the better you can plan. Complete a Hero's goals to gild its HeroDex entry. GAME CENTER ACHIEVEMENTS Earn achievements for the Heroes you find, the looks you collect, the runs you win and the moments you pull off, right alongside your other games in the Apple Games app. FAIR BY DESIGN - Free to play. - Plays offline, and no account is needed. - No ads, and no tracking. - One optional Supporter Pack supports the developer and, as a thank-you, unlocks every look of every Hero you know to equip. It is cosmetic only and never changes anything in battle. Every look can also be found by scanning. - Anonymous gameplay stats are shared only if you choose. Scanbound is made by J33NO.
