SceneThread is a camera that edits while you shoot. Hold the shutter to record a moment, release to make the cut, and keep going. Every clip lands as a colored thread on a live timeline, so you can see your film taking shape before you ever open an editor.

Capture, edit, and share are free. Premium adds 4K capture, ProRes, Apple Log, HDR HLG, Cinematic depth, Spatial Video, timecode, and external-drive recording; the full 24-track music library; cross dissolve and social transitions; the title pack; custom LUTs, film grain, letterbox, and ending cards; 10-second trailers; and Apple Intelligence title, caption, and shot suggestions on supported iPhones. Premium is available as a monthly or yearly subscription or a one-time lifetime unlock. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period and can be managed in your Apple Account settings.
