I managed to pay C$550 for a business class upgrade instead of C$990 that I was quoted right at the check in desk. There was only one other guy bidding with me, who didn’t place any active bids. Had I not jacked up the bid myself towards the end, I would’ve been able to get it for $450. There was also only 1 business class seat left I was told. I’m damn happy this worked as I’ll be able to get a better nights sleep hopefully flying across the Atlantic.
