Runner is becoming a lot more proactive. You'll see it let you know what it can do for you at the right moments in your conversation. Todos got a big upgrade. They're rich now: Runner can attach files, folders, and people directly to a task. Threading is cleaner. When Runner is involved at the start of a thread, it's segmented off so that subsequent messages don't clog the chat . Runner is significantly more reliable at reading your files. Drop a video, a set of photos, or a long audio file and it can see what's in there. Runner can also send timestamps now, so when it references a moment in your video or audio, you can tap and jump straight to it. That means you can record general thoughts on a video via voice, and Runner will listen, watch the video, and map all of your thoughts onto the relevant timecodes in the video. Typo is now Showrunner. Runner, our in-chat agent, watches your chats, organizes your files, and tracks everyone's priorities. It's like having an assistant producer in every project. It can also find you references, locate specific assets across your tools, draft documents, and keep databases up to date. This release expanded Runner’s capabilities. It can now: - Watch your videos and listen to your audio, up to 2GB. Daps, this one's for you. - Proactively track your team's tasks with due dates, sorting, and better display. Shoutout Brooke and the Roomies team! - Respond faster and more reliably in group chats and shared projects. Notion and Google Drive integrations

We've introduced an AI agent to Typo. You can treat it as your own assistant producer. You can access the agent via chat from your personal project (where your private folders live), or in any group chat by typing "@TypoAgent" in the composer. You can also mention any file or folder to specify your message. Here's what the agent can do right now: - Access any file you have stored on Dropbox (log in with your account via the Typo* settings page) - Set up a new project with folders & subfolders, without you needing to click or tap buttons - Organize your files for you. (You can also ask it to organize anything or put an asset into any folder) - Tell you the status of any asset (e.g., where it is in the production pipeline, or what's blocking progress) - Summarize action items by observing the chat - Summarize feedback that has been left on a file - Search for anything (or any collection of items) It can also read files, so feel free to send it screenshots, voice notes, and videos under 100MB. And the agent can search the contents of these files, too, and organize them smartly based on their contents. There'll be many updates to these capabilities over coming weeks. Significant changes that improve the app experience for teams. - "Library" and "Chats" have been brought into one unified tab. You can view your full personal library by tapping "Personal." - Chats have been renamed 'Projects,' to closer match how they are being used. - Any folder that has been shared to a project now displays beneath that project. Anyone involved in the project can collaborate on the folder. - When you share a folder to a project, it is moved out of your personal library. You can move it back – or to any other project – via the 'Move' option. The chat is where you make decisions. The folders attached to it are where your work lives.
