Description
The Silver app lets you play 2-player games of Silver (the card game from Bezier Games, Inc.) against a computer AI. Learn the ins and outs of the game, and practice before taking on your friends!
Your goal in Silver is simple: have the lowest sum by the end of four rounds. To accomplish this, use abilities from the cards you draw, and from cards that are already face up in your village, which consists of five cards. You can trade in matching cards, and also trade out your cards for ones you draw to make matches or to lower your score. End a round early if you think you have the lowest sum by calling for a vote; if you’re right, you score 0 points, and get to use the Silver Amulet of Protection the next round. If you're wrong, though you get the sum of your cards plus ten points!
The app walks you through the game, and the comprehensive Help screen gives you all the details you need to be able to play. While you’re playing, view detailed card abilities just by tapping and holding on them.

Ratings and Reviews
Great game but buggy
Silver is an awesome new game and despite it currently only having single player functionality (vs AI) I’m still having a lot of fun with it. The art is beautiful and the controls make sense. However it seems to have a recurring issue when certain cards are drawn on first turn—I’ve noticed it with 7, 8, and 11 most often. As soon as the card is drawn the game stops responding. The only way to clear seems to be exiting the game and then resuming, at which point it forces you to select “Done” and then gives the AI another turn, during which it draws the card you just did.
Other than that issue though it is well designed, runs smoothly, and because the game is so quick it doesn’t really matter too much—I usually just start a new game, no harm no foul.
Can’t wait for multiplayer functionality down the road, this will be a great candidate!
Simply not fun
While I respect them for making this free and the effort put in, the game itself just isn’t fun. It’s a memory based card game with an absurd amount of luck and an all-or-nothing scoring mechanic that is just crushing. Add in some game breaking bugs and this becomes even more frustrating.
Fun!
A lot of fun to teach myself more strategy for playing the game.
Looking forward to future expansions and more interactive gameplay!
