GPS THAT ACTUALLY WORKS IN FLIGHT
The old version gave up after about ten seconds — far too soon for a cold GPS start at 35,000 feet. It now listens patiently for up to 45 seconds, so fixes that were previously impossible mid-flight now succeed. If a fix still can't be found, the app explains why: satellites out of view, the aircraft's heading, or the dimmable windows on aircraft like the 787.
A LOADING SCREEN THAT TALKS TO YOU
Waiting for satellites now shows live guidance instead of a frozen screen — including where to hold your phone, and your accuracy tightening in real time as the fix improves. You can cancel any search.

Every screen has been laid out properly for iPad, not stretched.
